The Voluntary Adoption Program places children in adoptive homes. The children’s birth parents have voluntarily made an adoption plan for them. This often is a newborn placed at birth but may also include older children. In addition to birth parents who have contacted Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services (PCHAS) and chosen an adoption plan for their child, we also reach out to community providers to help women with unplanned pregnancies and/or difficult circumstances to find our services.
We offer families an opportunity to seek counseling services with us to see if a voluntary adoption is a good option to grow their family.
